Tips

1. Be proactive with your lawn care. If you notice something not looking right, give us a call. We would be happy to take a look.

2. Mow at the correct height. You should mow your lawn to be between 3 and 3 1/2 inches during the Spring and Fall months. During the hot summer months, you should keep your lawn at 4 inches. This will allow the grass to thrive and store energy and water reserves.

3. Mow at the coolest time of day. This gives your lawn the most time to heal.

4. Maintain a sharp mower blade. Grass which is routinely cut with dull blades is more susceptible to disease and will eventually succumb to problems.

5. Mow the lawn once a week, except during extended droughts and times of stress. This will encourage vigorous growth of your lawn.
